KATY PERRY MAKEUP INSPIRED LOOK

So As I very much love playing with different makeup looks when I saw this picture of Katy Perry I thought yup ill give that a go and I am so glad i did! I have done my own little take on this look as you can see ,So I do hope you like it :)


A bold colorful eye which sparkles in every light with two coats of black mascara and an always most defined eyebrows with flawless skin and a shimmery pink blush with well moisturized up rich pink lips, oh-so kissable. 



Katy Perry is well known for showing up in(and pulling off!) some of the literally wildest color on the red carpet. She is known for doing the boldest,brightest beauty looks and that is why I love her! I love how she doesn't play it safe.
This look is clearly not one for everyday its fun and colorful and super playful and oh-so sparkly! It certainly isn't boring. But then again Katy Perry is not one for minimal makeup.
She wore this look in 2011 at the Grammy awards and Jake baileys aim was to give Katy Perry an angelic,sparkly and ethereal "disco angel"  look and oh wow I love it,bold and colorful and I think its perfect for summer!

I prepped my skin first using my everyday routine fabulous simple products. Say hello to the kind to the skin sensitive skin experts cleansing lotion,facial toner, eye makeup remover and my hydrating light moisturiser.




A closer look at them got to have bold colorful eyes :)

GOODBYE WINTER AND HELLO SPRING

Today is the first day of spring! woo! and what better way to start it off then to introduce to you all my latest lipstick buys. Goodbye winter lipsticks you did me proud and hello to all my lovely vibrant spring/summer lipsticks. 




That picture makes me so giddy! eek! I love how vibrant, bright and colorful all my new lipsticks look. From bright pinks and oranges to soft corals and pinks, with a night out on the town red. I am very much ready for the spring/summer but as a beauty addict i know that many more will catch my eye! Beauty blogger problems, Bring it on!  
I also Had a very exciting moment today when i realized that with my Natwest credit card , every pound i spend gives me 1 point, well i had 8793 points and you can put them towards shopping vouchers,experience days,food and so much more! Well as a beauty addict i decided on getting the boots vouchers, i grabbed myself £40 worth! First word springs to mind is WOWIE! Now i can get loads of makeup, yay! 


So Firstly say hello to my lip balms.







Starting from the left

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in the beautiful shade Crush - I love how soft and smooth this makes my lips feel. A gorgeous scent of mint which awakens your senses. A dark but vibrant shiny color which with just one application leaves a nice flush of color but to intensify the color give just one more application, I like it to be extra dark so i do this. The color stays on your lips for hours and your lips feel lush! A brilliant retractable design and I love the packaging as its easy to identify when with all your other lipsticks



Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in the vibrant night to day shade Whimsical- A perfect mix between a gloss and a balm and once again a fresh scent of mint, which i adore. Leaves my lips feeling extra soft and hydrated, great pigment of color leaving a high shine finish. It contains Shea, mango and coconut butters to moisturize the lips so that's a bonus. I love this color A medium dark frosty cool toned pink.


Mua Power Pout in a intense tint & balm in the get your attention shade Runaway-A 3 pound balm that is a great alternative to the Revlon colourburst balms at £7.99.Cracked lips say goodbye and hello moisturized lips with a soft color. It goes on light on the lips and it is honestly a lovely color. I am very happy with my purchase and i am looking forward to trying some of the other shades available.



No7 High Shine Lip Crayon in the sorry to say disappointing shade Tickle- A high shine balm definitely true to its word but the color its self is almost invisible, just a shimmer. I have used this though on top of a orange toned matte lipstick and its look lovely. So i will be putting this to use but just not in the way i hoped,sadly! 




So there it is My 4 new lip crayons :)

PS LOVE LIPSTICK REVIEW - A PINK TO MAKE THE BOYS WINK

The weekend is here (yay) but my weekend is full of all work and no play(boo) and you know its been a very boring day when the things what sticks out about your day the most is the hard decision you had to make deciding which breakfast cereal to have, rice krispies or cookie crisp , rice krispies or cookie crisp, oh dear! After all that I went for toast instead after about 15 minutes of debating. Which I then burnt and I stood still staring at it for a couple of minutes, singing burn baby burn and  hoping this was just a practical joke and any minute my toast would be burnt free , but no I was left with burnt toast and I had to swallow the fact that im truly a hopeless cook. Do they do microwave toast ?  I'm an expert at microwaves! No burning my toast then! 
For my breakfast I had a can of Pepsi a Crunchie bar and salt and Vinegar crisp, decent breakfast wouldn't you say ? 
So I introduce to you, drum roll please, The new,The fantastic,The cheap as chips,The one and only Primark special £1 pound lipstick,I repeat the £1 pound lipstick, wow!






 It's a beautiful Barbie pink lipstick which is a definite statement on your lips, a vibrant color which is a definite most for every girls makeup bag! I hate wearing lipsticks what have a horrible smell and yes I know this sounds weird but also what taste horrible, the scent I find quite fruity and I actually really like. The lipstick is durable , I went 6 hours without touching it up so it's a color that lasts! It matches up to the luxurious cosmetics brands but at an affordable price. The lipstick I find is really moisturizing and almost feels creamy on my lips,gives you soft smooth lips, and I find my lips look fuller. It's a soft matte finish but for those who love a shimmer or a satin finish why not just add a matching complementing lip gloss, I have chosen extreme sexy mother pucker plump XL in the shade pink out loud to do the job. I call it the perfect team. It enhances the primark barbie pink lipstick and now gives it a luminous color and glistens in every light.

PRIMARK MAKE UP HAUL - PS LOVE RANGE

I hope your all having a lovely week so far, this is just a quick post to show you  the items I picked up yesterday on my trip to Manchester. I had an amazing day out with great company. We had a shop around, went for food at Wagamama and I had a katsu curry, if you haven't been to this restaurant and tried katsu curry , just go now. RIGHT NOW! Its amazing!  I also went to see Drake at phones for you arena, he was unreal!

The makeup in Primark caught my eyes,it is organised lovely and I just couldn't resist and at such cheap prices, I thought why the hell not?

Such moisturizing and vibrant lipsticks, Im pleasantly surprised how good they look! As a bit of me thought they wouldn't match up to what I hoped they would but Im so glad Im not disappointed! I just want more shades now!

ELF-EYES LIPS FACE HAUL

How nice is it to actually wake up to the sun shining ? How can you not wake up and smile, it honestly makes such a difference to my day. I literally jump out of bed but this morning unfortunately for me I jumped straight on a plug! Ouch! There is 2 ways I could have handled this situation one cry like a baby and roll around on the floor and swear repeatedly at the plug and shout at the plug like it's a living thing, or I could look around make sure no one saw me ( im in my bedroom)then start to whistle while my eyes look at the ceiling and  brush my shoulder and swagger it out! I cried like a baby.

So I wanted to share with you today all the beautiful products what I bought from elf. I only recently found out about them and im always so excited when I find a new brand to try! I rushed on their website, I couldn't believe how cheap everything was and then I saw also that they had 50% off too, I was so giddy! The website is so easy to navigate around which makes it such a good shopping experience. I initially added all the items I liked to my checkout bag but my bag came up to 150 pound, I had to have a few words with myself and then I brought it down to 7 items which came up to 16.82! How good is that?  



The service I received by elf was great and I received the items so quick! I came home from a long day at work and my items had arrived, I was like a kid at Christmas!
I also needed advice on eyelashes and the elf twitter team responded pretty much straight away and helped me find the perfect pair, it was such a nice personal approach!

So I purchased the high-definition powder which i am so excited to try, i am just going to do a little research on what is the best way to apply this. Two blushes in the shades Candid Coral and Twinkle pink. An eyebrow kit and I purchased this in dark. I have used this twice now and I have to say i am so impressed, I was little unsure if to buy this as for 2 years I have used Browzings by benefit and it's always worked great for me, but as it was so cheap at just £3.95 compared to the benefit one which is around 23 pound, the price defiantly did win me over! This will now replace my Benefit Browzings,my bank account will be happy and my eyebrows will carry on to look amazing! Its a win win situation.Even more amazing then normal i must say, my eyebrows look loads thicker! I will defiantly be doing a more detailed review on this product.
I also purchased two Moisturizing lipsticks in shades Rosy-go-round and Coral Cutie! I haven't as yet tried but the colors look beautiful so I just hope they look as good on my lips. Fingers crossed! Last but not least I bought the 32pc Eyeshadow palette in the colors everyday, they are all such beautiful colors , sparkly ones and matte ones, it has such a good range of colors! The name everyday suits this palette as its got every color to suit any occasion.

CHERYL COLE INSPIRED MAKEUP LOOK

 Hola Guys!

Today I have for you a Cheryl Cole inspired look. A  perfect nude lip which complements the bronzed copper eye shadow with a winged eyeliner perfectly. Followed by an always most defined eyebrows and a glow of pink on the cheeks. This look would be perfect for any special occasion










I teamed this make up look with the following clothes as the sun is shining and its made me super excited for summer! 


Trousers are from Primark


Top and necklace are both from River Island

If I was to go on a night out I would team this with some wedges and a statement clutch bag!
Perfect for those hot summer evenings.

An alternative look to put with the cropped trousers is this beautiful pastel blue jumper from Dorothy Perkins!
I have teamed this with a collared blouse underneath the jumper! I proper adore this look! Would look great with a skinny blue jean too!
